Piccino’s New Chef

Piccino says:

Our new executive chef is here!

We are excited to introduce our new Executive Chef, Jacob Town. He comes to us from RN74 (Michael Mina Group) where he was the executive sous chef, and prior to that he was a sous chef at Spruce. A Californa native who grew up on the central coast, Jacob has been working in kitchens since he was 14 years old. His experience in the industry is deep, and more importantly his integrity and passion are exactly what we want for Piccino.

Their newsletter said that they will now be open seven days a week, and their coffee bar will be open until ten every night. They also said that to-go pizzas will soon be available, which is a little weird, since I’ve been calling and picking up to-go pizzas for months — since I’m too lazy to put on the required white tie for dinner*.

* no tie is required, but I’m sure that they’d appreciate me changing out of my pixel-stained clothes after my shift at the pixelhouse.
