I am not technically allowed to complain about the San Francisco mayoral election, since I somehow neglected to register to vote when I moved to The City in April, but still, I wanted my three doors down neighbor to win, just for the joy of telling the folks back home on the farm that I live on the same block as the Hells Angels AND the mayor. I guess also would have accepted Avalos as mayor because I am a stinky liberal who sometimes rides a bike, but in any case, I will make do with Ed Lee as mayor, and my neighbor as the City Attorney.
